Textile forgives. Leather does not. Every stitch is a permanent hole — there is no unpicking and starting again. A motif that sits cleanly on cotton can tear the same leather along its contour if the stitch density is too high or the stitch direction wrongly chosen.
That is why leather and Alcantara embroidery is not a sideline but a discipline of its own. We produce it on a flatbed embroidery machine: it embroiders the individual piece — the cut part, the cover, the formed component — instead of a continuous web. For materials that never arrive as yard goods, that is the right construction.
Alcantara is a microfibre material with a directional, sensitive surface. Two things decide the outcome: the embroidery frame must leave no pressure marks in the pile — those stay visible even after unclamping. And the stitch density must be chosen so the material does not stiffen at the embroidery and can still be processed cleanly.
Neither is a question of theory; both are decided on a sample. That is why no series runs here without prior approval.
For saddleries, vehicle refiners, upholsterers as well as caravan, boat and interior outfitters. We work as a contract manufacturer: you supply the material or the cut part and the motif, we embroider — your end customer stays yours. As with all our services, we do not appear in front of your customers.
It always begins with a material sample. On it the needle is determined, the stitch density set and the motif test-embroidered — only then is there a reliable price and a date.

As a rule the flat cut part before making-up — cleanest result, greatest freedom in placement. Whether an assembled part still works depends on its geometry.
